Description

Description

Pra Nak Prok Thepnimit was sacralised by Ajahn Chum in BE 2496 and also again in BE 2497.

Ajahn Chum created this pim after reading the book of magic written by Ajahn Kong Wat Dtan, Suphanburi, believed to be the Master of Khun Paen himself. He had entered the dreams of Ajahn Chum and given specific instructions. In fact Ajahn Kong is thought to have been present throughout the blessing of these amulets and as such are believed particularly  efficacious protecting the worshipper from all forms of extreme danger.  Old film footage attests to this inherent power.

The amulet itself is made from many hundreds of sacred powders and auspicious components such as flowers offered to Buddha images at 108 temples. More specifically flowers that had been offered by monks in apology, Soils collected from 108 sacred chedi throughout the kingdom, including powdered bricks from holy stupa in Nakon Sri Thamarat,  Pong Wiset blessed by Ajahn Kong, Leaves from the sacred Bhodhi tree.

It is also recorded that that Ajahn Chum had asked for permission from the Fine Arts Department to remove a number of Phra Kru from the Chedi at Wat Dtan to use in the creation of these amulets.  It is also believed that bone fragments from Ajahn Kong were also incorporated.

Other than the Thep Nimit Pim a Khun Paen pim with Guman was also created.

Ajahn Chum was a representative of the common man. At that time Buddha amulet trade and commerce did not exist in the same way that it does today. Amulets were given in return for merit
