Phra Wongken amulet from the Puttasil Yon Yok series, Wat Nason BE 2547. This particular amulet is the lead version, serial no 57 of a total batch of 99 amulets, making it exceedingly scarce. Sold with original presntation box.
Background
Wat Nason, an ancient temple in Nakon Si Tammart Province, was the origin of the now famous ancient sacred series of amulets known as Pra Kru Wat Nason. These amulets are probably one of the best known series of amulets from the province and priced well in excess of 100,000 baht/each.
The other two series were Pra Kru Wat Ta Ruer and Pra Kru Wat Nang. The three series together are known as "Pra Kru Tripakee of Nakon Si Tammarat Province".
Objective
Phra Athikarn Prayak Vuttapunyo, the most senior monk of Klung sub-district, Nakon Si Tammart Province, devised an ambitious project to renovate the dilapidated Wat Nason. He appointed appointed Pra Acharn Yao Kala-yano as abbot of the temple, and at the same time coordinated with Ajahn Pan (Major Police General Khunpuntarakrachdech), to create a new series of amulets to be known as "Wat Nason's Puttasil Yon Yuk series" to raise funds to support the project.
Ajahn Pan assigned his son, Nasun Puntarakrachdech to work with Phra Acharn Yao Kala-yano to oversee the creation of the new amulets.
Sacred Materials
The materials used to create the Wat Nason Puttasil Yon Yok series were identical to those used in the very famous famous Jatukam Burana Lakmuang BE 2547 amulets, as such the quality and sacredness was assured
Sacred Ceremonies
Apart from the sacred materials, Wat Nason's Buddha Silpa Yonyuke amulets were also passed many sacred ceremonies to transfer sacred magic power into them as followings.
First ceremony
First ceremony was organized at Wat Phra Mahatat, Nakon Si Tammart Province, on May 17th, B.E.2547. It was raining on the day, which was associated as a blessing from heaven.
Second ceremony
Second ceremony was organized in deep seas of t5he coast Nakon Si Tammart Province, on May 19th, B.E.2547, to invite the angel of the seas to transfer magic power into the amulets. On that day the ceremony was joined by LP Rung, the abbot of Wat Huay Daeng, who it was said actually witnessed the angel.
Third ceremony
Third ceremony was organized at the City Pillar Hall, or Sarn Lakmuang of Nakon Si Tammart Province, on May 22nd, B.E.2547. Luang Phor Wan of Wat Saothongtong joined the sacred ceremony to invite the souls of Praya Srivichai, Tao Jatukam, Tao Ramthep and Goddess Intapani to bless the amulets.
Fourth ceremony
The fourth ceremony was organized at Wat Nason, Nakon Si Tammart Province, on September 24th, B.E.2547. Phra Athikarn Prayak Vuttapunyo and several other senior monks joined the ceremony to recite sacred Buddhist spells.
An unusual coincidence occurred at this time. An ancient Kru containing Phra Kru Tripakee amulets was discovered. This further increased the interest of worshippers and the entire collection of Puttasil Yon Yok amulets were sold out on the very day of release.
