LP Toon Guman Thong

Luang Phor Toon, Abbot of Wat Poh Nimitr, was born in Supanburi province. As an old time Guru monk, he still retains much love and affection today.

He lived a very long and fruitful life and was known as the beloved disciple of Somdej Buddhacharn Nuam of Anong temple.

In 1939-1940, Somdej Buddhacharn Nuam graciously donated some scared powder to Luang Phor Toon. This sacred powder was collected from many of the most senior monks of that era, including Luang Phor Suk of Wat Makhamthao. Somdej Buddhachern had hoped that Phor Toon would create some very special amulets.

Luang Phor Toon collected may other sacred components including fragments of many powerful amulets and interestingly the hairs from Luang Phor Sod of Wat PakNam.

Luang Phor Toon created amulets for a relatively short period of 12 years between 1942 and 1954. His first amulet was named not surprisingly, 'Ketmongkol' (Auspicious Hair)

The Guman Thong amulet which we have for sale was created by Luang Phor Toon in BE.2495. He invited many great monks to participate in the chanting ceremony including Ajahn Nuam Wat Anong, LP.Klai Wat Suan Khan, LP.Ti Wat Palaylai, LP.Toh Wat Pradu Chimplee, LP.Seng Wat Kalaya, LP.Sar Wat Rajnadda and Chao Khun Sri(Sond) of Wat Suthat.

Amulets made were good for every purpose, Protection, Metta, Attractiveness, Luck and Wealth
