More than thirty years ago, Mr. Sa-nguan Jantima had created a series of Phra Somdej Prabuddho amulets. Production stopped after the mould became damaged.
Luang Phor Toh had created a new series of Pra Somdej-tansingha amulets in B.E.2514 with sacred powder. In fact he used the old damaged mould of Phra Somdej Prabuddho to create his new series.
This new series of amulets was called Phra Somdej-tansingha Hoo-by-sri, because the part of the mould which was damaged was near the ear of the Buddha.
Generally this series of Phra Somdej-tansignha Hoo-by-sri amulets are white-yellow, but it has been said that around 10 of the amulets were green. However few if any people have actually seen any of these amulets, so it is somewhat disputed as to whether they exist or not.
This series of Pra Somdej-tansingha Hoo-by-sri amulets was offered to worshippers in B.E. 2514 by LP Prakru Virojkittikun, along with the Phra Somdej Pim 9 Chan amulets.
There's an assumption that less than 1,000 pieces of Phra Somdej-tansingha Hoo-bai-sri amulets were created.
We are fortunate to be in possession of such a beautiful amulet and in great condition. The price reflects the condition and of course the rarity. You can be sure that this amulet will become a classic of the future and its value will only increase.
Very rare and highly recommended.
