Luang
Phor Thuad ( Songnum B.E.2551
Langkasuka series) amulets were
specially designed and quite
different from previous series
of LP Thuad amulets because the
right hand thumb of LP Thuad is
pointing upwards.
Moreover the hands of LP Thuad
are holding “Numtao”, a kind of
sacred fruit, believed to
possess the power to call upon
fortune in to the worshippers
life.
Furthermore the base of the
amulets was engraved with a
Chinese word “Charn”, meaning
“good fortune”.

5,555 amulets were made of
Navaloha metal and on April 13,
B.E.2551, Luang Phor Daeng gave
away many rian LP Thuad (sacred
coins) to the poor. All of the
coins were made of copper.
Luang Phor Thuad ( Songnum
B.E.2551 Langkasuka series)
amulets passed several sacred
ceremonies, which were organized
to transfer magic power into
them, and the last ceremony was
held on May 29th, B.E.2551.
The amulet is supplied with the
original temple presentation
case, which in itself
has a single rien amulet
attached to the cover. Typically
collectors will remove this
amulet and case it is Perspex. |
