On the occasion of H.M. the Queen's birthday on August 12, B.E.2526, the Kumklao Foundation organized a sacred ceremony to celebrate the occasion and invited 1,250 senior monks throughout
Thailand
to write a sacred spell onto sacred plates which were made of three kinds of metal gold, silver, and gold alloy.

Somdejpra-ariyawongsakatayan, the then King of Monks of Thailand had presided over the ceremony at Wat Rachaborpitra,
Bangkok
.
A further ceremony ceremony was organized at Sanamluang or the Royal Grounds near the
Royal
Palace
,
Bangkok
. Sacred strings were lined from Wat Prakaew into the sacred ceremony's premise during the period from April 6th until April 9th, B.E.2527. During that period of 4 nights, 108 famous monks joined the ceremony.
On the first day of the ceremony, H.M. the King lit the sacred light in the Buddhist
temple
of
Wat Prakaew
and then Air Chief Marshal Prapun Thupathemi invited the sacred light to the ceremony's premise.
At 7.19 pm, Somdejpra-ariyawongsakatayan, the then Supreme Patriarch of
Thailand
lit the candle with the sacred light and the ceremony commenced and continued until the dawn of April 10th, B.E.2527.
Various kinds of amulets were created including Phra Buddhasiramongkol, Phra kring Sirakas amulets as shown here, HM the King's coins and Phra Buddhachinaracha amulets.
On the occasion H.M. the King also permitted the organizer to use his royal shortened name to emboss onto the sacred amulets and also let the royal modeler to make the mould for H.M. the King's coins.
The amulets were made to raise funds for the hospital and the construction of a new building. H.M. the King had given the name "
Kumklao
Building
" and also presided over the opening ceremony of the building on April 3, B.E.2528.
Kumklao
Building
was built according to a project that aimed to celebrate Bhumipol Hospiltal 's 30-year anniversary. It was a 12-floor building, built with 600 million bath of donated money from the Thai public.
Kumklao
Building
serves patients both in
Bangkok
and other neighboring provinces such as Pathumthani province, Saraburi province, Ayudhaya province, Nakornnayok province and Prachinburi province.
This particular batch of Phra Kring amulets is very popular indeed and the value is increasing mainly because of the royal participation in which the King poured the first moulds.
This Phra Kring Sirakas amulet was made from many sacred constituents including the sacred engraved plates blessed during the first ceremony, Nawaloha, Phra Bucha and Phra Kring's filings from many other sacred amulets (size 1.9 X 3.45 c.m) supplied with original temple case and stainless steel reliquary ready for hanging.
On the final day of the ceremony Somdejpra-yanasangworn of Wat Boworn extinguished the light to end the great historical Buddhist ceremony.
