Luang Phor Boon, born Mr Boon Satsue, was one of five children of Mr. Am Satsue and Mrs.Sao Satsue, locals of Klang District, Rayong province. Luang Phor Boon was born on January 31st, B.E.2447.
Luang Phor Boon used to be a policeman prior to his ordination on April 17th ,B.E.2471, at Wat Banna, Banna District, Rayong province.
The senior monks who joined his ordination ceremony were Prakru Sangkhakarnburapatis , Praplalum Mahasuwanno and Luang Phor Luer, all of them senior monks of Rayong province.
Luang Phor Boon, or official name was Phra Kru Suthiwatrasunthorn, was respected for his strict dedication to Lord Buddha's teachings. He lived his life simply and spent most of his time helping to develop the Buddhist faith.
In B.E.2540 Luang Phor Boon became seriously ill and was admitted to
Klang
Hospital
, Rayong on several occasions. He was suffering from respiratory and other blood diseases.
Anyway Luang Phor Boon carried on his duties and his dedication to Buddhism until December 29th, B.E.2542, when unfortunately he suffered a stroke and was re-admitted to
Klang
Hospital
.
On December 30th, B.E.2542, Dr.Bunyad Jetanajun referred him to
Bangpo
Hospital
in
Bangkok
where Mr.Prapurt Tongpipat one of his followers was waiting to take care of him.
Luang Phor Boon remained at the hospital until April 16th, B.E.2543, when he passed away amidst his mourning followers.
Luang Phor Boon's Prakring Boon-upatum amulets (Nawaloha) were made of Nawaloha, a kind of Thai alloy and are very much sought after by amulet collectors. Each amulet was engraved with special serial number and code.
Amulet is supplied with the original temple case which in itself is quite rare as well and adds to the value.
