Chris spent 16 years in the Far east, with most of that time spent in Thailand working for a telecoms company. He is a passionate collector of Thai amulets and admits that initially he was confounded by the various types of amulet and their cultural significance. This in part was due to the lack of information in English language. He has now spent almost a decade researching and studying Thai history and Buddhism, with particular emphasis on the relevance to votive tablets. It is his desire to disseminate and share that information in an attempt to widen the appeal of this fascinating subject. chrisj@thai-amulets.com

Khun Maneewan provides most of the support services and day to day tasks that help keep this website running. She provides the liaison between the research, sourcing and purchase of amulets that eventually appear on our site. Many of the amulets that we offer are sourced from remote temples all over the Kingdom of Thailand and in particular the limited edition amulets. As you can imagine these amulets require a tremendous amount of effort to obtain and without her efforts and determination we would never be able to offer such exclusive amulets.

Khun Aem as he is popularly known graduated from university with a degree in media and design. He now works as a freelance photographer and journalist in the city of Bangkok. Khun Aem has been responsible for the photography in some of Thailand's most prestigious amulet magazines including the His contacts within the world of Thai amulets have been an invaluable source of information.
