Luang Phor Jarun, is a senior monk of Wat Numkerng, Pichit Province.
Luang Phor Jarun, the sacred monk of Wat Numkerng, is now 89 years of age and without doubt the oldest monk in the province.
He was born in Lopburi Province and was ordained by Luang Phor Jon, who was a disciple of Luang Phor Sai, probably the greatest monk originating from this province. The knowledge of Luang Phor Sai was passed directly down to Luang Phor Jarun.

In addition to that it is known that he also learnt sacred sciences from many guru monks including Luang Phor Doem of Wat Nongbhoti, a great monk that specialized in mit mor and scared cloth (seu yant)
Luang Phor Jarun was a keen student and learnt everything that Luang Phor Doem had to teach. Indeed his sacred yant brought him fame later in life.
It is recorded in many text books that in B.E.2492 Luang Phor Jarun had visited Wat Nongbhoti where its is said that Luang Phor Doem possessed quite a fierce elephant which would not allow others to sit on its back. On seeing Luang Phor Jarun for the first time it bowed its head, inviting the monk to step up.
Two years later in B.E.2494, Luang Phor Doem passed away and because of the love and respect that Luang Phor Jarun had for him he organized a great funeral.

Luang Phor Jarun also learnt other magic sciences from some of his friends including Luang Phor Perng and Luang Por Ngern of Pichit Province. Luang Phor Jarun often said that whilst meditating he would see the sacred soul of Luang Phor Ngern, who had taught him higher level sacred sciences.
Luang Phor Perng also invited Luang Phor Jarun to join many blessing ceremonies.
In B.E.2511 Luang Phor Jarun visited Wat Chongkae where he studied magic sciences from Luang Phor Phrom, the abbot of the temple.
It was during this period of his life that his dedication and knowledge started to bring him notoriety. Often he was invited to many blessing ceremonies, or to bless houses, doors and gates with his sacred yant for protection against evil spirits etc.
Mr. Yi, a Chinese-Thai businessman also invited Luang Phor Jarun to write the sacred Yant on the gates of his house, as a result his business became very prosperous. After his death, his son never forgot the virtues of the great monk and continues to worship him to this very day.
Luang Phor Jarun was also very famous for his sacred water and it was said that people, who were haunted by ghosts or harmed by black magic would be relieved of suffereing after they were showered with his sacred water.
One of Luang Phor Jarun ’s most sacred Yant was called “U-nalom”, which was believed to be a sign of Lord Buddha. It was known to be particularly powerful for protection against evil and danger.
Moreover “U-nalom” was also respected as the third eye of Phra Narai, one of the supreme Gods of the Hindu faith. Worshippers are thought to be blessed with luck and fortune.
Actually Luang Phor Jarun followed other famous senior monks in the creation of the U-nalom Yant amulets. It is known that previously Luang Phor Suk of Wat Makhamtao, Luang Phor Ium of Wat Nung, Luang Phor Klun of Wat Pra Yat, Luang Por Ngern of Wat Bangklan, and even his own sacred teacher, Luang Phor Doem had used this yant on their amulets.
To increase the efficacy of his amulets Luang Phor Jarun also attached a sacred Takrut amulet called “Takrut Prajao Ha Pra Ong amulet” onto the U-nalom –Yant amulets making his amulets exceptionally powerful. As in the example we have here. The appearance of this amulet is slightly different to other U-nalom-Yant amulets in that no other senior monks, including his own sacred teachers, had used this particular design.
This is a great amulet that has multiple uses, it can be hung in the office, business premises in your house. Very limited edition, and well worth acquiring.
